Advanced oral communication: Enhancing fluency and appropriacy for academic presentations
This advanced course aims to improve students' oral communication skills, with a particular focus on pronunciation, intonation, and nonverbal communication, enabling them to express ideas with confidence and effectiveness. Students will engage in activities that promote advanced oral expression, such as debating, analyzing complex texts, and delivering presentations that require in-depth synthesis and interpretation of academic content. Students will refine their presentation abilities while receiving constructive feedback and guidance on content organization and persuasive techniques.
In the first semester, students will deliver structured and engaging oral presentations in preparation for their assignments in literature, history, and linguistics. In the second semester, they will enhance their skills by practicing and delivering a mock presentation simulating the format of their M1 defense exam.

 

S'exprimer avec aisance devant un public. Présenter oralement un sujet complexe dans une langue claire et précise. Identifier les différents registres de langue et s'y adapter.
